  • Subscribe to our newsletter – your email address;

Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK equivalent), together with additional technical and organisational measures where appropriate.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

  • Contact and demo enquiries – for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and typically no longer than 24 months after our last interaction;
  • Newsletter data – until you unsubscribe or we discontinue the newsletter;
  • Analytics data – in accordance with the retention settings described in our Cookie Policy (Google Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months);
  • Legal records – for as long as required by applicable law.

When personal data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. In the preceding 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3 (identifiers, commercial information limited to enquiry details, and internet activity information) and disclosed them only to the service providers described in Section 7.

11.3 Visitors in India (DPDP Act, 2023)

If you are in India, you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we process about you;
  • Correction and erasure of your personal data;
  • Grievance redressal – raise concerns with us, and if unresolved, escalate to the Data Protection Board of India;
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

11.4 Other jurisdictions

Depending on where you live, you may have similar rights under local law (for example, PIPEDA in Canada, the Privacy Act in Australia, or LGPD in Brazil). We will honour valid requests in accordance with applicable law.

11.5 How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, email us at marketing@camcom.ai with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 30 days, or 45 days for California requests).

12. Children’s Privacy

The Website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
