Every defect that escapes your line costs more than the one before it.

A scratch caught at the paint booth costs minutes to rework. The same defect caught at the dealership costs a customer.

Human eyes weren't built for production-line speed.

  • On a moving line, a quality inspector has seconds to assess a vehicle, then the next one arrives.

8000 images
auto policy issuance on objectively verified condition data — at the moment of underwriting.
icon

What you can't measure, you can't manufacture consistently.

  • Gap and flush variation between panels. Dimensional drift across batches. Inclination misalignment.

Laser-based robotic dimensioning delivers repeatable, traceable measurements within tolerance — replacing subjective gap gauges.
icon

A 50-micron defect today is a warranty claim next year.

  • Dust-in-paint. Orange peel. Parting lines. Underbody leakage. Defects measured in microns — invisible to a human inspector at production speed — surface as warranty claims, customer complaints, and reputation damage long after the vehicle has shipped

50 microns
Detects defects down to 50 microns at 99.97% accuracy with under 1% false negatives and zero false positives - without slowing your line.

One defect assessment layer. Every defect, every dimension, every stage.

Most factory inspection systems are single-purpose: one camera for paint, one rig for underbody, one operator for dimensions.

icon

Physics, not pattern matching

  • Conventional machine vision looks for patterns it was trained on.

  • The CamCom Al World Model understands the physics of how paint cures, how metal warps, how panels deflect.

icon

Retrofit, not rip-and-replace

  • Our patented Retrofit Inspection Gantry (RIG) drops into your existing line.

  • No conveyor changes.

  • No workflow disruption.

icon

MES-native, line-speed

  • Inspection in as little as 20 seconds per vehicle.

  • Real-time pass/fail decisions written directly into your MES, with full defect traceability, root-cause flags, and predictive maintenance signals.

USE CASE 01

Paint — Every dust mote. Every orange peel. Every micron.

Paint — Every dust mote. Every orange peel. Every micron.
USE CASE 02

Dimensional — From a 0.5mm flush deviation to a full cabin alignment.

USE CASE 03

End-of-line — The last 30 seconds before a customer takes delivery.

USE CASE 04+

And everywhere else a defect could escape.

Modulus isn't limited to a paint booth or an end-of-line tunnel. It applies wherever a defect can form, a dimension can drift, or a surface can fail.

Any Manufactured Surface

Any Manufactured Surface

The Al World Model extends to any production environment where surface defects, dimensional accuracy, or visual quality determine output value.

“If your line isn't on this page, that's the conversation. The platform extends to the inspection problem your factory is already solving — manually, expensively, inconsistently — today.”

Physics over pixels.

Physics over pixels.

A conventional vision system looks at the image. CamCom's AI World Model understands the physics behind it — how light deflects off a 50-micron dust particle in paint, how a laser profile changes when a panel is misaligned by half a millimetre, how surface curvature betrays an underlying weld defect.

Not a vendor relationship. A line-side capability.

CamCom is not a vision product you procure and integrate. We deploy, calibrate, and operate the inspection capability on your line — and bill on inspection volume, not licence seats.

Pay-per-inspection model

Pay-per-inspection model

OPEX-based pricing aligned to your production volume. Low CAPEX entry — the RIG is retrofit, not a capital build.

Retrofit deployment

Retrofit deployment

Engineered to drop into your existing line layout. No conveyor modification. Installations during maintenance windows.

MES-native integration

MES-native integration

Output flows directly into your MES, QMS, or dashboards via API. Centralised distributed operations management.

Pioneer-grade IP

Pioneer-grade IP

Patented IP67 hardware. Patented AI models. Proprietary deflectometry. We own the stack from frame to inference.

Three things no factory inspection vendor can match.

01

Pioneer in AI visual inspection

The Retrofit Inspection Gantry is patented IP67-compliant hardware engineered for production environments. The deflectometry pattern-recognition algorithm is proprietary and unmatched in surface defect detection at production speed.

  • 8 years in production

  • 500M+ images yearly

02

Patented hardware, proprietary algorithm

The Retrofit Inspection Gantry is patented IP67-compliant hardware engineered for production environments. The deflectometry pattern-recognition algorithm is proprietary and unmatched in surface defect detection at production speed.

  • Patented RIG

  • Proprietary deflectometry

03

Full-stack: hardware, AI, integration

Most inspection vendors sell either cameras, software, or services — and force the OEM to integrate the gaps. CamCom delivers the full stack: RIG hardware, AI World Model, MES integration, and ongoing operation.

  • RIG + AI + MES — one vendor

  • 30+ countries

Proof, not promises.

Real OEM deployments. Hard numbers measured on the line, not in a sales deck.

Volvo Trucks — Laser-Based Dimensioning
FEATURED CASE STUDY

Volvo Trucks — Laser-Based Dimensioning

Challenge:

Existing 2D camera-based gap measurement showed unacceptable repeatability variance — readings sensitive to lighting, reflections, edge detection, and camera angle/parallax. Same cabin, same inspection point, different number. Manual gap gauges added inspector-dependent variance on top. The quality data wasn't stable enough to drive engineering decisions.

Solution:

Two-phase PoV. PoV-1 established the 2D camera baseline and documented its variance problem. PoV-2 deployed laser-based robotic dimensioning — dual KUKA KR 20 R3100 robots on 17.4m linear tracks, each carrying laser profiling sensors — and measured the same inspection points with the new approach.

Questions plant managers ask.

Will the RIG disrupt our line speed or layout?

No. The RIG is engineered for retrofit deployment — it drops into your existing conveyor layout with no line modification, no shutdown beyond a scheduled maintenance window, and no impact on takt time. Inspection runs in as little as 20 seconds per vehicle, synchronised to your line speed.
