Saudi Arabia partners with CamCom to tackle visual pollution with AI

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing (MoMRAH), has partnered with CamCom on a global-first programme to tackle visual pollution using AI. The programme sits within the Quality of Life initiative under Saudi Vision 2030. It is the first time a nation has addressed public safety element detection at national scale with computer vision — and it is what took Saudi Arabia to UN SDG 11 compliance.
